Lisa Ventress is the founding and managing attorney of The Ventress Firm, P.C. With a vision of creating a law firm that educates, encourages, and empowers clients to make informed decisions about their legal rights and goals. Ms. Ventress opened the doors of The Ventress Firm, P.C., where she focuses on assisting clients in Labor and Employment Law, Personal Injury, Business, Trademarks, and Healthcare.
An Opelousas, LA, native, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA. She continued her education by receiving her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
In addition to personally managing client matters, Ms. Ventress also has the honor of addressing a number of business communities; including Texas Women in Business; as well as groups of employees through her curated presentations on “Business Basics for Entrepreneurs” and “Employment Law Considerations”.
When she is not advocating for clients, she serves as a mentor to law school students and sponsors high school seniors entering the workforce, college, military, or trade school.
