The Ventress Firm, P.C.

FAQ

You should contact an attorney as soon as you think you may have legal claim(s). An attorney can listen to your facts and evaluate whether or not you have a viable claim and give you guidance on how to move forward.

Our cases range from unpaid wages, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, slip and fall, motor vehicle collisions, contract review and drafting, LLC formation, trademark registration, and healthcare insurance appeals.

We have found that no case is a slam dunk. The strength of case is not just a factual analysis, but also a legal analysis. Some wrongs are moral wrongs, but not legal wrongs and therefore there is no right to recover under the law. Additionally, we take time with each prospective client to understand the basis of their claim(s), and case evaluations help to assess the facts and determine if there is a viable claim, and whether that claim is a good fit for the firm.

The Firm provides flexible billing options dependent upon the type of matter. We provide the following billing options:

  • Flat Fee (all inclusive bill)
  • Hourly Fee (work is billed by the hour)
  • Contingency Fee (work is performed upfront, and billed after the matter is resolved).

It depends, some cases can be resolved without filing a lawsuit, while others cannot. When a lawsuit is filed, the litigation process is sometimes long.
